Egypt may be famous for its history, monuments and sightseeing, but summer is for enjoying the outdoors. For cycling, swimming, splashing around in the water and exploring your limits.
A few minutes drive from Marsa Alam town, easy entry, and sandy bottom you will find Marsa Samadai. It’s an absolutely relaxing experience swimming and snorkeling from the shore. Lionfish, scorpionfish and frogfish are likely to be seen on the North reef. In the South, you can find crocodile fish, spadefish, and many more colorful reef inhabitants.
Al-Nayzak
The approach to the Nayzak is an unremarkable off-road, it is located 8 km south Marsa Alam. It got its name by the area inhabitants who believe it has been shaped by a meteorite, hitting the coast. Nayzak is known for its pool, several meters in diameter, shaped like an eye, filled with the turquoise blue waters of the Red Sea. Complete your afternoon with us with a delicious barbecue in a little cave overlooking the pool, while the sun sets over the hills and shining in the water.
