Marsa Assalaya

Marsa Assalaya is a beautiful sandy bay, located just 7 km north of the city center, the locals call it Kilo Saba'a "kilo seven", it is a perfect place for diving and snorkeling.

Marsa Assalaya is located just a few km away to the north from Marsa Alam town, Access to the reefs is particularly easy due to shallow water. The bays slope gently down to beautiful North and South reefs offering the ultimate experience for divers and snorkelers. Batfish, sweetlips, snappers, moray eels, groupers, and porcupinefish can all be encountered here. Highlights are turtles and a dugong that often can be seen on platos covered with seagrass.
