Some consider it the best beach in Marsa Alam, located just about 30 km north of Marsa Alam city center, Abu Dabbab bay offers two coral reefs north and south with a massive underwater grass area in between, therefore the bay offers the best chances of turtle and dugong encounter.
Abu Dabbab Bay is close to most of Marsa Alam's hotels. what is different about this beach is its service, since it is a shared beach between 3 resorts, Hilton, Malikia, and Abu Dabab lodge, the beach offers sunbeds, umbrellas, a place to dine-in and overall facilities after beach use. Here you will find two stunning house reefs. The south and the northern reefs, separated by grassy meadows. The flourishing fauna and marine life are visible from the beach and easily accessible right from the shore. Giant green sea turtles can be seen almost every day, as can the harmless guitar sharks, although your chance of seeing Dennis or Dougal, the famous dugongs.
