WANDERLUST STAFF : captain SAFAGA

We are continuing our staff introduction with our captain and skipper Mohamed Abdel Rady, who we call usually by his nickname “Safaga”. He is driving our speedboat🚤 with passion but never loses the respect of the sea. Any wave 🌊 coming up – he will handle it. And: he is our big help on board. Our guest feel safe, he helps them enter and exit the water, helps serving food and water and most important: there is always a smile on his lips.

🔷 What I enjoy most in Southern Egypt: the quietness.
🔷 Why desert and ocean are combining so good together? They look alike: both are wild and wide.
🔷 If I would be a marine biologist, what species I would declare as endangered? The Napoleon fishes.
🔷 If I would be captain of a big boat, which vessel would I choose: The catamaran
🔷 If I could be a boat motor, how strong would I be: outboard 50 hp, I am not too strong
🔷 My favorite fish 🐟from the Red Sea as a dish and what I need to prepare it: dusky spinefoot, fried
🔷 Talking about Egyptian food, what would be your favorite local dish? And who prepares it best? Molokhya by my mother.
🔷 Which word would you teach to a foreign person in Arabic and why? Mashy, which mean “Ok”.
🔷 What is a „must see “historic site in Egypt? Why? Hatshepsut Temple, amazing architecture.
🔷 Biggest wish for 202️⃣2️⃣, apart from Corona disappearing? That I be happy and for all people a stable live.
🔷 And last, but not least... if I would be a musician, what genre and which instrument I would play? I am bad at music :D…
