Egypt may be famous for its history, monuments and sightseeing, but summer is for enjoying the outdoors. For cycling, swimming, splashing around in the water and exploring your limits.
Our kitchen and food wouldn’t be as delicious without our second chef 🧑🍳 and right hand chef, Ahmed “the little”, how he is called by his friends. His pizza 🍕is extremely delicious and crispy – a real magician of the dough. Also originally coming from Luxor he already spend several years at the coast of the Red Sea.
So let’s see how he answered our questionary….
🔷 Age: Younger than Hatshepsut 🔷 What I enjoy most in Southern Egypt: The sea of course. 🔷 If I would be a French 5 star cook, I would cook more: Homemade Italian pasta. 🔷 My absolute favorite fish to eat from the Red Sea is: Emperor, fried. 🔷 My absolute favorite fish to eat from the river Nile is: Nile perch. 🔷 Talking about Egyptian food, what would be your favorite local dish? And who prepares it best (except yourself)? Molokhya, my mother. 🔷 Which word would you teach to a foreign person in Arabic and why? Shokran🙏, means “thank you” 🔷 What is a „must see“ historic site in Egypt? Why? Giza Pyramids. One of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. 🔷 Biggest wish for 2022, apart from Corona disappearing? Tourism to be back in full force. 🔷 And last, but not least... if I would be a musician, what genre and which instrument I would play? Don’t know about genre but my favorite singer is the Iraqi Kazem El Saher and I would play Egyptian drums 🥁.
